I'm just worried they'll change their minds given the tone that was used with me. If you had been there you'd understand. It wasn't a we-are-very-mad-at-you tone, it was more of a tone that implied I was stupid, had no business being there, and that I was a little boy. I would be less worried had they just cursed me out and threatened me because I can handle that and any intentions would be clear. But to talk to me like a little boy with mental issues, that has me worried because it has deeper implications.

Here's the deal -
You're going to be dinged with both of them but it will possibly be consolidated into one incident.
They had you clean out the truck because no matter what you'll be out of it for at least 14 days. Most TEs available have already been assigned or will have left out by the time the RTA and RDSC can take action. Monday or Tuesday (not sure because of the holiday) the decision will be made. Own your actions, state what you've learned and how you will avoid this in the future. The big red flag for me is you started moving the truck before you were calmed down and refocused. If they offer the extra time with a TE - take it. Even if things don't work out you'll have learned a whole bunch more and be better prepared for your next company.
If Schneider does cut ties, no biggie. There are plenty of other companies that will hire you as there are no DOT reportable on your record.
Going forward remember you're a trailer driver, not a truck driver. GOAL works going forwards and backwords. Take your time, no matter what kind of shot is/has happened.MiRig2017, 91B20H8, AM14 and 1 other person Thank this. -
ANd Driver? TAKE A DEEP BREATH AND EXHALE SLOWLY. Now REPEAT.
The likely reason you were told to clean it oout was it may get used by another coming aboard while you get your extra training time. They got what 20 - 30 folks coming through a week? Just at that OC?
Just Keep It Simple.gentleroger and 91B20H8 Thank this. -
It must be part of the office training.TennMan Thanks this. -
Irony or par for the course?
mobile croads showed a single mt at my drop yesterday that then disappeared. 144 series.
I wake up this morning, check , still no mt. THEN box planning gets ahead of the game, sends message, no mts blah blah blah. makes the changes and I'm all set up before I have said a word or even arrived at drop.
on arrival I am assigned the mt I saw yesterday by security.
on the one hand I am happy thats 15 miles less in chicago rush, on the othet why cant they ever get ANYTHING right? -
I've actually discussed this and was told that box planners go from what shows available at the time they look, I told them I'm standing on site looking at our trailer that box planners say isn't here. Ask to verify license and everything.....sure -
Upshot is 3.5 yr old trailer. excellent brakes and tires heading into blitz week.TennMan Thanks this. -
Yeah umm @mickeyrat I'll need you to bring that trailer to me in Chesapeake Virginia and I'll trade you the 93 series that I've been dragging around for 5 days
TennMan Thanks this. -
geez boss I don't know. it just uncoupled and went over the side.ExOTR, TennMan, Home_on_wheels and 3 others Thank this. -
Of course if he were to do that it wouldn't be hey "Boss" it'd be former employer.....lol but then again maybe just leave it down in Norfolk and it may disappear on its own.
91B20H8 Thanks this.
