I found them. They were embedded in with the prior shipments. Should be listed separately, but whatever.

those with an auto and have a cb installed, how well or badly are you getting signal in and out with the stock wiring hooked up?

I am basically on a test drive and think I wanna switch if they will let me keep this truck.

they had me swap for the weekend to transfer it to obetz for a pm.

some things to get used to for sure and some training but its nice just driving.

The stock setup sucks. The integrated antenna is crap and FL runs a series of junction boxes in the coax. My SWR's were over 3 and I couldn't use my radio in fear of burning it up. I couldn't transmit and could barely hear anything coming in. I had all kinds of warnings coming on the radio. I ran my own coax and put on a Predator 1OK antenna and got the SWR down to 1.3:1 . The windshield AM/FM stinks too. Running basically the same routes every week, I knew exactly where I could pick up and lose certain stations and with the new truck I'm getting maybe half the range I used to.

Pretty much same experience. The stock wiring is awful. I tried 3 different setups and finally settled on dual 5' firesticks. It's actually working rather well.

Interesting start to today. Following a construction detour that was also Jill's route came upon my final turn. Looked really tight so I pulled over and GOAL (it's not just for going backwards). Would have been tight in a day cab w/48, in a sleeper w/53 not a chance in heck would I have made the turn without dropping the trailer into the trench.

    I had three options

    1) back 2 blocks down the road to sight side onto a side street.

    2) back 1 block down and attempt to maneuver the horseshoe driveway of a church.

    3) blind side into the used car lot.

Option 3 was the best bet. Wide driveway with another driveway across the way to use for pull ups. Set up, GOAL; come back the first 15 feet, GOAL; come back another 15 feet, GOAL. Things are looking pretty good - tight but good. There's a silver Lexus looking anxious to get around me but he can wait. I've got the trailer straight and now I just need the tractor pointing the other way, only problem is I'm within 8 feet of a 12 foot roof eave. Work it around a little and GOAL one more time and Lexus guy says "can't you just back it up a little more I have to get to work". My response "I'm doing this as efficiently as I can, but I need to make sure I don't hit anything. If I do it will be at least an hour of me blocking the road waiting for all the reports to be made.". He rolls up his window and creeps forward. I get back far enough for him to get around me, two more quick back and forths and I'm gone.

How long did I delay Lexus guy? Elog kicked me on duty when I shut the truck off to GOAL initially, pulling out it listed 7 minutes. Given that Lexus guy wasn't there for the first bit he was delayed less than 3 minutes. In NY, LA, Chicago I can understand that attitude. In Cedar Rapids IA though? Give me a break dude.
