Well that was nice to hear. Got message from the boss today. As usual, no hint as to why. Just call in. Finally reach him.
It was a fair enough attempt to have me stay, but what was presented just wasnt feasible. The distance was too great. I was offered one of 2 local positions , weekly salary. One spot out of Greenville Oh and the other in Paulding Ohio.
Greenville is off of US 36/127 not too far from the ohio/indiana border and Paulding is not to far from Fort Wayne. I live in Columbus.
I really do appreciate the offer. It shows me I am/was a valued driver from the account.
Now if theres anybody near either of those areas , its a good gig and account. Look on schneiderjobs.com for the polyone listings. Or if you know of anyone looking from near either , pass that along.
Oh , they're gonna need to replace me too , sooooooo......

All you not so very new , new guys. If you ever pass through Obetz, track down n OSR and ask for the driver resource guide. They have a 4 ft tall stack of them. Charlotte offers them as well, no need to ask.
Be worth asking if any are available at any other OC as well. Who knows.rickybobby Thanks this. -
Do I qualify as not so new, new guy?
