Can we not use cameras either? I know they said no cellphones or cb's, even the OSR didn't say anything about the camera on my dash

0_O what? I generally keep the QC muted so I don't hear the dings and I remember that I should get off the pedal since I'm probably at cruising speed at some point after getting on a highway. That's when I set it at 60. Never heard a thing about it.

No, you are not allowed to take pictures while driving. See Highway to Success page 13-21: "use of cell phones . . . To record video segments or take photographs while you are driving is prohibited "
Dash cam is now more or less accepted under the "SNI is using theirs so why can't a driver use one too?" theory. Taking a pic that appears to be from a handheld device from a position similar to the driver's seat is asking for trouble. -
