The same reason I have been waiting 2 hours for one of the mandatory quarterly inspections. About to say the heck with it and leave.

I get my quarterlys done at wingfoots or TAs anymore. Wingfoots have been getting me in and out quick. Just make sure you get a copy of the inspection and verify with your ICA that they sent it in.AM14 Thanks this.

Hello everyone,
I am going to start my training with Schneider here in Canada.do you know if they have manual or automatic transmission? Thanks -
They have both.
-
Thanks for your quick reply. So how do I know which one they will be using for the training as I am not comfortable with the shifting.
Thanks -
I'm sure they are still training on 10 speeds but you'll most likely get assigned an AMT after orientation or within a year or so of it. Unless they do things differently there of course. I had 10 speeds for about 8 months before they made me switch.

Thanks AM14 for your quick reply.
So what do you think could happen if I have hard time with shifting . I did my CDL course on a manual transmission but it was really hard and I failed some companie road test BC of that. -
They will work with you. They need drivers. They aren't going to drop you after the first road test unless it is for unsafe actions. The two drivers I was paired up with couldn't shift there way out of a wet paper bag and they came in with experience. What the trainer did was he'd give me about 20 minutes of road time and then the other two would get about 45 minutes. Id get one back when they woukd get two etc. They both passed their final test on the 2nd go around after a few extra days of training.
Just show improvement. Show them that you are listening to what they tell you and get a little better each day. That's what they are looking for. If you come back from the week out with the trainer and still can't shift than you might have a problem on your hands. Same with backing. They will fine tune everything and teach you the Schneider ways of doing things. Honestly, I think you'd really have to try pretty hard to not pass everything. Like I said, they need drivers.milehunter43, drvrtech77 and jakecat22 Thank this. -
