As long as these companies require or expect drivers to take the time to have things fixed and the driver gets shafted with no compensation during down time then drivers will only pass the problem down the line.

This industry will be in dire straits in 10 years, a major compensation overhaul needs to happen.

Now if they went straight hourly, minimum wage would not be a good deal. That would be something to bargain over.
