When Amy got cranky I reminded her about last July when she told the boys that if they woke me up early I would take them for donuts before Mass. I told her to be lucky they don't make noise. -
At least you're not stepping on Legos in the dark

When walking barefoot in a house with kids under 10 you do the "lego slide" - toes go down first as you move forward, brushing the legos, playmobil, etc out of the way. It only took stepping on a lego once for me to learn that.
Shardrk, mickimause, drvrtech77 and 2 others Thank this. -
If my oc is in Dallas and I delivered in Wilmer 5 miles away why did my dbl make a big deal about the return to work assignment. He didn't even explain it to me before I got on thr road all he said was we usually try to keep you guys until 1700 on Friday
-
Because they might have wanted you to do a load and stage.
We have a half dozen customers in Wilmer, and more in the surrounding area. A load may need to be picked up by 1600, but it has plenty of time to deliver. I'm not available until 1600, so the apm will have you pick up the load and stage it at the oc, then I can grab it later in the day. It seems inefficient from the outside, until you think of service implications.
If we don't meet the service level for a customer, we lose the contract, or get fined, etc.DAX_ Thanks this. -
