My time as a company driver with them was spent doing EXACTLY that. Cruised when I felt like it (basically when the road was flat, which in all the places they ran me was never), foot on the floor anywhere else. I started out using the fuel solutions from the Qualcomm but my last 4-5 months I started fueling when I needed to and when it was convenient for me. I did try to fuel at the places they listed in the small driver resource book that has all the oc locations, tire/chain banks, fuel stops, etc, and not some random Citgo with a couple diesel pumps in the middle of nowhere. I'd usually try to plan fueling at places I would stop at for my break. Just made sense to me to incorporate pretrip/fueling when I could.

I would have actually gotten my bonus my last quarter with Schneider (not the whole thing, but some of it) but OOR killed me.

I do try to do my best with the metrics, fueling is usually not a problem. It's always a Pilot/FJ or Loves. except when I choose a different route than Navigo. And then once I am low on fuel, I send a request for fueling solution. I do want to make a bonus now because until I reach one year of service I only need to make 75% or better. After one year, it will go to 95%. I do not think I will ever be able to get one then. But even then, I will still pay attention to my metrics because apparently, your score is considered when they look at how much your anual pay raise will be. And that is more important to me than getting a bonus.

One of those days, 6 hr unload at a grocery warehouse this morning, go to pick up my "preload" and it's not loaded. Drop my trailer and park bobtail to wait for knock on door (like i was told) at 2pm. Wake up at midnight, check on my load (trailer was pulled from door) and they loaded wrong load in my trailer. Since then they put another empty in a door and they apparently are loading me now. Problem is it's another 4-5 hours on top of the wait I've already had.

Im expecting $45, basically had to wait 18 hrs for my load, subtract off the 10 hr break that I would have had to take anyways and that's 8 hrs of detention. Plus another $30 for the 5.5 hour detention I had on the prior load

just did annual. Had to sign a slew of company regs. One of which was 60 is THEE limit for SNI now. repeated violations can and will result in termination. Sure this will open up some slots for new drivers. Betcha Al Schneider is rolling in his grave.

So I guess we will be racing Prime now?

my overspeed is at .5% anyway. just enough to pass when I need to.

his numbers are right. 2 hrs. 3-5hrs , 5-7hrs , 7-9hrs those are the increase times . Caps at 60 I think for the day? 15 for the first two hours after you hit 2 hrs. and so on increasing by 15 per time frame.
