Thanks for reading glad you like the topics and learned from them .

Fuel strategy : thanks for the reminder on that ' and I will get this done tomorrow I hope if not real soon I promise .

NE has lots of good freight coming out tends to be soft but if you pull in the east or MW things tend to be good

I will touch more on that also

Thats My AO. I'll tell you one thing its pays good up there i ran 1500 miles last week averaged a rate of 1.88 for all miles less than 9 hours each day. One tank of fuel. Now you canh surely get out going to ohio is usually the most profitable way but for the most part you'll have to run a 1.00-1.35 load in the 33k-43k lb range.

Syracuse is so so in my opinion you can always find paper loads out of there Beer loads not to far down the road and the plenty loads leave regularly from watkins glen and Utica but its a matter of do you wanna go where they send you. The paper loads will probably get you into the best areas in my opinion.

Ew, as a lifelong resident of Central NY I can attest that the economy here is lousy. The govenrment has absolutely ruined what should be a great place to live. GM gone, Ford gone, Chrysler gone, Allied Chem gone, etc, etc, etc. CNY was one of the few areas in the country to lose jobs last year (again!!), seems the economy in the rest of the country is recovering except for us.

I always refer to NY as the Socialist Republic of New York. Absurdly high taxes, the Syracuse HS's graduatation rate is less than 45% (not a typo!), a shrinking and rapidly aging population, and politicians with no vision (tax breaks to expand a mall and that's about it). I could go on but I get nauseous thinking about it.

Anyway, thanks for the response. I assume 1500 miles wasn't your entire week. Did you haul out of the area after the NE miles?

Do you use or subscribe to SNI benefits? Are you pleased with them? As I approach 60 I'm getting obsessed with health insurance, wife and I have to buy our insurance and pay they entire cost which is over $800 per month. I need some relief until 65 when we can get Medicare.

I may seem obvious, but check your tire pressure in these new trucks, mine was like 85 - 90 psi.
