Something else people seem to forget about these trucks and driving speed. The way the truck is geared and speced also makes a huge difference. Its all about the sweet spot. I have seen trucks that do 75 reg beat out the trucks doing 60. Yes the trucks doing 60 get a very small smige better mpg (im talking like .2ish but the other truck is in his sweet spot and over time will make more money period with the extra loads he is running. Net and gross. Again its all in ur truck and how its speced.

This forum friggin' cracks me up sometimes. In true truck driver fashion it always manages to turn into a pissing contest of "WELL I BROUGHT HOME $4500 THIS WEEK" - "OH YEAH WELL I GET 13.5 MPG" - "WELL YOU GUYS ALL SUCK I GOT 4500 MILES ON E-LOGS" - "TOP 1% SNI CHOICE MASTER RACE DRIVER REPORTING IN, BOW DOWN TO MY GLORY 99% PEASANTS" It's just funny how over time each in each individual's mind, their way of doing something becomes the best, the one, the only way to do it, and will argue to the death that their way is the only way of doing things, with everyone just trying to one-up the previous post on the forum threads.

Seriously, I shouldn't even have to point this out, because you ALL know **** well that there are so many factors that can can affect what gets deposited into your bank account at the end of every week. Whether it's the loads you run, live vs. drop, loads with appointment times vs open windows, the MPG and terrain and weight of your tractor and the load, what parts of the country you are running in, what fuel prices are, and let's not forget the biggest factor of all, your personal situation that dictates how much money you NEED to bring home to pay the bills vs what you WANT to make and how hard (or not hard) you are willing to work to make it happen.

Just be glad that everyone out there has their own way of doing things because if everyone was doing the same thing none of us would be making any money.

And I think part of it is sunshine pumping to get recruiting referrals.

The discussion that is going on right now is the same with a discussion about politics and religion, you will not get two people to agree. Just agree to disagree. It's getting out hand guys. Just my penny's worth.

    91B20H8 and TennMan Thank this.

I agree to disagree. There is no one size fits all right way as long as a drivers profitable is all that matters.

I have 0 referrals just to be clear and I've been with SNI a long time.
