Schneider Choice Program

Summary of the choice program.....The program is for drivers who are used to earning 80-90cpm +fsc. They think the $ is great.......I was one of the 1st on choice.....I was leased to SNI and drove local out of the NC rail yards, when SNI stopped pulling out of one of the rail yards I went to choice.....the first month or so it was ok......but unless things have changed their is VERLY little freight if you like to run east to west...matter fact there were zero loads going out west. All that board is mostly filled with Kimberly clark and p+g cheap freight. No I don't drive there anymore, been gone about 5 years....... If you need your hand held with "freedom" then choice program is for you....

 

Why post to a question if you haven't worked for Schneider in 5 years?
There is plenty of long haul on the Choice program.

I did not have one conversation with a dispatcher. There aren't any in the Choice program.

did you lease your truck with sni or did you you buy it from dealer and leased on. DOUBLE SHOVEL

 

Thats why i said i had left 5 years ago so you can take it for what its worth..........thats too many miles!!

 

That's all well & good, but it begs the question.... did those long hauls meet your break even point? I know on the load boards most of those legs aren't paying very good.

 

Hows freight in California? How are the rates?Are plenty to choose from? Out from San Diego ,Sacramento or Los Angeles? Can you check the schneider choice board in California? Thank you in advance....
