i am an IC. i was in the choice class when they gave them out so i.must have missed that. either way you get a choice of some really nice boots for $25 if that is the case. id love to get a set of $120 rockies for $25.
likewise they gave out locks at the same time. i thought only the ic's paid for them. i already had mine so i didnt have to buy one

The boots will cost $25 dollars, they are $125 boots, well worth it.
The kingpin lock will cost $75, they will both be payroll deducted.
The steel toes are not the issue, SNI wants the boots to have "non-slip, oil resistant" soles. -
Ahh, I see. Well , that just means I get a good pair for cheap and further save the soles of the redwings I got.
