Hey guys recently got my CDL a couple weeks ago. Have an offer from Schneider for the floor and decor dedicated route out of Phoenix making runs to California. Was hoping to see if anyone has experience with this route or any insight would be greatly appreciated. The home time says weekly but would I able to stop at home on the way back to Phoenix or between loads? Thanks in advance

Runs to where....in Calf?
How much time will you spend out on a trainer's truck -- for that job?
A week? Two weeks?
If you don't know -- find out, before accepting the offer.

Whether you can stop at home or not depends on how much time you have. Sometimes you have to bypass the house in order to get your load there on time. A dedicated route is quite nice to start out as a new driver. Many of us gotta do the irregular route OTR. I'd say give it a shot..if you don't like it, Schnieder is a large company with many options.

Just make sure it's not dedicated into/out of port of Long Beach/L.A.
Bud A. and Gearjammin' Penguin Thank this. -
Thanks for the replies. Here’s some more info I got from the recruiter.
It’s non stop to Moreno Valley Ca and back to Phoenix. Hauling flooring material, 0 hand unloads, 1 stop off per load, 5-10 loads per week, 75% drop and hook, average 2200 miles a week.
Mileage: $0.56
Hours On Duty Hourly: $12.00
does this sound okay for a new driver?Bud A. Thanks this. -
With information you give something is missing round trip from Phoenix to Moreno Valley looks like approximately 620 miles that could be done in a day depending on the stop off.you could possibly do 5 a week but that would be all and that would 3000 miles a week so not sure what you’re getting into
Bud A. Thanks this.
