Looking at a 2012 cascadia 13 speed Cummings isx. 300k miles the gray ones on the site. Would like new but if I went new it would be 11500 down and 2500 month for the KW. I just don't want that high of a pmt anymore. I pay almost 4K a month with maint also.

One thing to keep in mind on the 2012 Cummins, I know a fleet owner who's just had 3 2012 Cummins motors go bag in the last 6 months. Something about the ceramic coating in the fuel pump breaking down and destroying the cylinder and liner. If you get a warranty, make sure it covers fuel pump failures.
tazman74 Thanks this. -
I might be able to get the one with the Detroit that is the one I want but they are all reserved. But people may just change to the other one.
-
What kind of miles were on them?
-
400's I believe. He tried to get Cummins to cover it since it should of been under warranty, but Cummins said since he was the second owner, it wasn't covered.

Personally, I like the Cummins over the Detroit, but I understand that it's easier and cheaper to "fix" the def problems on the Detroit then the Cummins. That being said, I also like the 13 spd way more then a 10.

What was the process like to get approved through lonemountain? Whats their requirements?
-
Yes they will release this one but I don't want this one. And I would be paying way to much for it.
Just a quick credit check, references and have at least $10,000 available in accounts. -
I did a 3 year lease and my truck will have very low miles so I'm thinking it will he worth the buyout. Dunno how that would work through Schneider though.
So would you say the process was simple with loanmountain?
