1.20???? wow. That has gotten real bad then. Of course the when I left the truck from OTR fuel was still up over $4 a gallon. Also I was on the old pay scale where fuel surcharge was more. No way I would roll for barely 1.20. pitiful..

You got that right. I am loving it here. Finding my freight lanes and making some money and will be home more often. Taking a week off next month to get married and have no worries about my truck payments since it's worked out ahead of time. I could never have said that about swift.

Congrats on the marriage. I want you to know that your payments on the truck will not even be half of what it will be on things when you get married LOL. When I ask my wife for a few dollars to get something she says we can't afford it and then I turn around and she has spent way more on something else. I say I thought we did not have the money and she says it magically appeared. Me thinks she is hiding money LOL..

Seriously I hope the marriage works out for you.

I did the load
bunch of idiots running that joint.
Took nearly two hours for the entire plant working the place... Schneider calling everybody.. etc etc for them to figure out where the dude that works the Shipping office is!
Nobody knew!
I was fed up and requested to have the load pulled from me...

Eventually it was found out the guy was supposedly in a "meeting" and nobody else working there could do my paperwork but hey the load didn't cancel lol I eventually did it.

 

Never had an issue like that in Cedar Rapids, unless the load was just late. Where did you pick up?
