I was wondering if any of the choice owners would be willing to share their year to date numbers for running the east coast primarily. Just gross and net to you would be great also how often are you getting home. I have been driving locally for the last year and not making what I want or need . I am looking for information that I can share with my wife she has been a school bus driver for the last 20 years and could go with me some during the short summer recess. I am hopping it will not require me to be gone 3 to 4 weeks at a time like when I was with Prime. Thanks in advance.

I can't give you my numbers because I have only been a choice driver for 1.5 months or so but I can tell you I get home weekly and I still average 4200 a week in revenue so far. I mainly run TN,GA,NC,SC,VA,PA,DE. I live in TN and have no problem finding freight.
Trueblue45 Thanks this. -
you think its possible to average $650/day as a leasor? im still trying to find out more info on it before i decide. im not interested in owning my own truck but just see if i can make a certain amount if i run for 30 days and take 5 to 6 days off following that period. walmart is still my end goal.

I have no problem generating 650 a day average revenue. I only work 5-5.5 days a week I do a restart every week I don't like chasing hours nor working 7 days a week for 5 days pay. You have to constantly watch the load board and be able to trip plan well

Shizit. $650 a day revenue should be on your low end of expectations. IMHO.
-
I agree with that being a low end amount.....I try for 1k a day but it usually don't work out and as of now I am averaging about 825 a day but it's a constant I watch the board and Trip plan everything to make the most of my days

thanks TennMan, I live in Md so I think I would hope I could find plenty of freight and still be able to get home regularly. I drove through Tennessee a lot when I was with Prime in fact I remember stopping at a truck stop in west Memphis and I wasn't there 5 minutes and got a message that I couldn't park there for the night I had to shoot over to Arkansas apparently a Prime driver was robbed of his whole rig at gun point and they won't let their drivers park there for the night.

I'm sure trip planning is a huge part of being successful, like many people have posted you have to switch to a business mentality .

How is freight in New Jersey (South Jersey specifically)?
-
Lots of freight in Northeast. West Memphis is Arkansas please dont insult Tennessee. Lol
