Schneider IC orientation 9/08/15

    Started IC orientation this week in Charlotte. Never worked for a mega before or used a Qualcomm. Was an owner op leased to a small carrier for 2 years. WOW. This is so much info at once, there's no way I can remember all of this. They go fast, especially for someone who has no Qualcomm experience.
    When we got off the bus, you go into the cafeteria and Noone says anything. No welcome, no hello, no nothing. Seems like a cluster you know what, since there is so many drivers maybe.
    Not impressed at all. Hopefully that will change with their loadboards. I'm used to negotiating my own rates, so I feel like there's alot of money left on the table. But what they are showing for rates, I'm extremely disappointed. Only time will tell. Fingers crossed......

    A lot to process. You will get the routine down....but yeah Charlotte leaves a lot to be desired. I'm assuming you are out on the road now. First week I called my ICA quite a bit to walk me through some of the process. 2nd week a lot less....3rd week i didn't speak to him at all. Rates are there...but depending on region it can be a challenge.

    The ICA I have acts like he doesn't want to talk. Lol. Never responds to emails either. Cool guy when I met him though.

    I got Vince. He's a cool guy. But just seems like he doesn't care to talk..maybe he just don't want to talk to me..lol....I was hoping I would get Marcia..I heard good things about her.

    Strange...I have Vince. He seems more than happy to help on the phone and even cracks a joke or 2. I have noticed it's the best way to get in touch with him....email or Qualcolmn usually doesn't get a response.
