    Hi Fellows,

I'm currently an IC with SNI. I can echo the some of what's been said here in the forum. I have absolutely NO complaints being on the Choice Program. Been an IC for 7 months after being a SNI company driver for 7 months. SNI IC Choice program is setup for businesses to be successful. And the best part is been in COMPLETE control of how you want to do and when you want to do!! Quite simply, you get paid for delivering freight. If you're a driver who doesn't need to be babysat by a dispatcher, SNI Choice is for you!!

Schneider's program is pretty good! Not saying there isn't anything better, but from what I have seen and heard out here haven't found one yet!

schneiders choice program main advantage is you can choose where you run, i am currently on it,,word of caution do not get your truck through schneider finance it is a rip-off and if something goes wrong they will sue you if you turn that truck in,,look at their inventory ;it is full of trucks they got back and likly re-sold a few times already so if you do this get your equipment at a dealer,,you have the same problems if you gave the truck back but at least you can take it to another company if you wish and when the payments are over its yours, stay away from schneider finance it is a rip-off

i am also a ic with schneider,, if you are coming over with your own truck i think you would be happy with them,, but i think over all you probly would make more money somewhere else but with schneiders choice program you can choose so that freedom is what really sells their program,, but do not even think about their lease purchase, it is just a lease but they put you on the hook as a purchase and they make it very very difficult to take the truck to another carrier so basacally you are trapped and if you finish the lease payments you got to give them the truck back or pay them dearly for a wore out truck, and if you have to turn the truck in before the lease end you will be sued,,take a look at their inventory and keep this in mind all those trucks they have there they sold new ,how is it they have many 2,3,4 year old trucks and most were not traded in for a new lease

stay away from schneiders lease purchase,,its not a good program,,it is a rip-off,,they trap you compleatly ,it is not a lease you can terminate and give the truck back and walk away from, you will be sued ,schneider makes a lot of money off this and they will just re-lease that truck over and over untill its compleatly wore out,,,and yep i made that mistake and thats my problem right now, walk away knowing i am going to be sued or stay and make less than one of their students,,unfortunatly i will be turning the truck in with in the month and most likly file bankruptcy, not much fun but am struggling just to try to get enough money together to eat untill i can start getting paychecks from somewhere else, would hate to see anyone else go through this,,stay away from schneiders lease purchase

Been out 2 weeks, my average is 1.73 loaded and 1.45 all miles... I had a lot a dead miles, trying to get truck back on the road. I have not been to the Midwest yet. Been running from NC to PA a lot . Descent rates going in, but crappy rates coming out. I usually pick up something very light when coming out .

I don't agree with this. If you can't make your payments on any truck your going to get it repo, whether it is SFI or a outside vendor. Never heard of them suing anyone. Think that is a bit over the top. You have a far better chance of making work with SFI than with a outside vendor, unless you really know what your doing.

Uhmm making the decision to be O/O shouldn't be something you just want to try out. It is a commitment to yourself and them to pay for the truck. research it, I agree it is a big step. I made the decision I was going to be a truck driver for many years, it's my carrier now so why not do it for my self and make as much as I can. Plus have the liberty to route myself. If your thinking you just want to try it then your probably not ready for it. My best advise is get to know someone that is doing it. Talk to them often and see what it is really like. What is required etc.. then choose. Just food for thought!
