I was very open with them and up front that i'd be willing to leave if i see proof of a better situation. Then they changed their mind i guess on sending me info. I was pissed cause i wanna see!!!
I don't get how anybody could join anywhere without seeing what kind of rates they could get. Schneider sent me screenshot of their load board in markets that i asked before i made the decision to join.

There's a difference between Schneider and interstate... In my opinion when a company is evasive and answering questions and doesn't want to show you proof of what you can make over there then that right there is a serious red flag and then cross them off my list
-
Thing is they were willing to send the info, they even asked for my email and asked what areas I'd like to see.
Then they went on and on trying to get me to apply. I said this is how i run and what i earn, if i see i can do better there I'll apply.
Her tone changed and then never heard back from the recruiter or got those emails lol.
Next time I'll know better and shut my mouth in order to get info. Seeing what other people are getting rate wise is valuable info. -
Since I only see the company side of things I don't have eyes on the ic side. I'm very near the Charlotte oc, how hard is it to get loads that average in the 1.50 range near nc tn va ga area? The thought of 77 in wv just kills mpg just thinking about it.

You should be able to do it but it just depends on the Freight situation at that point in time... because things change week to weekProject Mongoose Thanks this.

That's understandable. Now I did read where lots of y'all have said that Schneider wants a down payment on new trucks, what about slightly used like a cascadia with about 100k miles. Do they consider that used? Will they still require a down payment? BTW thanks for the sound advise and info.

Do they have any info on the net?

On the interstate thread on here there are some postings about it but the last one that anybody posted about it was last October nobody sense... That leads me to believe that those guys aren't there anymore that's why they're not posting anymore.

Theres a youtube star "therightbrotha" hes with interstate doing the lease deal... Hasnt said anything about rates and said he didn't come to sni because he didnt have the money to put down on a truck.... Just my opinion but if you dont have a couple grand then you have no business trying to start a business.
freightwipper, Grijon and drvrtech77 Thank this. -
