What truck to you decide to go with? Are you happy with your experience with SFI so far?

    Grijon and mxpx148 Thank this.

Pretty happy so far...all my questions have been answered and my finance rep has been pretty helpful. I am putting $5k down for a 1 year lease on a 2017 Cascadia, DT12 auto, TriPac APU. Going to orientation next Monday, the 19th.

    Grijon and sealevel Thank this.

You get that $5k back at the end of the year right?

Have it going towards my payments, except for $1k that goes into that match program.

    freightwipper Thanks this.

Actually he made a smart move using it towards payments.
I didn't know you could do THAT

    sealevel Thanks this.

Neither did I. Just the fact that he is willing to put skin in the game tells me it won't be just another dirt covered return truck sitting at a oc.

    driverdriver Thanks this.

Most start up business you have to put money up. I don't see a problem with it.

TennMan, driverdriver and sealevel Thank this.

I was mistaken, 4k goes toward the principal, $1k goes into the Trac match account, so I get back $2k after the one year. Would have been nice to have a lower/no down payment, but all of the "lightly used" 2016s had a 2 1/2 year lease term, and I only want to commit to one year to start. All of the used 1 year lease options were mostly 2014 and had a good amount of mileage on them.
