Just get with some lease drivers and compare. Would love to get more input.

Really appreciate your response. We work hard at our profession to fed our families and take care of our responsibilities and I believe honesty is a responsibility of all for the benefit of all.

I was in the office one day and was told about some loads that were to be coming out of the port in Baltimore. 25lds over two weeks. My ICA had just gotten off the phone with the load planner. I was told that they would be hitting the board soon and paying over $1000 on about 250 mi. I watched the board for two days and never saw them. When I asked her about it I was told they found a way to put em all on co trucks. So don't you guys believe there are no shenanigans that go on!!

Look. No situation is going to be perfect. Schneider owns the business. Most of us would do the same thing if we saw gold cross in front of our face once in a while.
What you have to do is look at your situation and decide if it's good for you. Overall to me it looks like Schneider is reasonably fair and gives the O/O and opportunity to make good money if they put in some brains and brawn.

Yeah and if you find a discrepancy contact your lawyer immediately!

I can't imagine SNI would take such a risk. Too easy to compare.....could you imagine the lawsuit? Huge risk.

It looks like there are two different discussions going on in this thread.

1 - Are there different loads for drivers that lease or purchase their truck from Schneider Finance vs. the driver who brings in their own truck purchased from the outside? - in my experience, NO, like I said in my first post I've compared the board and they are exactly the same

2 - Are some loads not available to contractors that are only pulled by company drivers? - I'm almost positive that would be a YES, some loads are only pulled by company drivers and are not available for contractors to pull

Lawsuit? I don't think it would be illegal to withhold certain trips for themselves. It might just be a reputation issue. I'm sure Schneider has nowhere in any agreement that states they are obligated to post all loads.

I am talking about going through a lease with them and suddenly your load board changes because you paid off the truck.

Schneider only guarantees you access to the loads available on the choice load board........ NOT ALL THEIR AVAILABLE LOADS.
