The other question is ....are lucrative loads (that were consistent for months on end) taken from o/o's that made decisions based on those loads..you would not see that in your comparison... also your comparison is to insignificant for you to say "No" it doesn't happen. -
I'm going to guess ALL ICs see the same loads. Otherwise that would be ethically wrong of them. Also, I'm sure they have attorneys in a legal department that review any policies they practice to make sure all is legal.

Reviewing polices is one thing but controlling to the point of making sure all is legal is another.

We are in business with Schneider. They created the program. Its been working for years. It makes good business sense. Growing a successful business is all about creatiing win/win situations. To succeed in any business, their has to be some level of trust. If the ICs started to make a mass exit it would cost Schneider a ton of money.

I sure Schneider has neither the time or any reason to track individual ICs and withhold loads from one while offering the same load to others. What would they possibly stand to gain by doing so? They just want the loads covered, which IC covers it is ill relevant to them.
Like DFO said, there are 2 different conversations going on here. I am sure they have loads that are not on the choice board that company drivers haul and probably have had some loads that were on the choice board and subsequently pulled off the board and covered by company drivers. That is there prerogative and will happen with any company that has both ICs and company drivers.
At the end of the day if they do not have enough good loads on the choice board they will just end up losing choice ICs which would not be in their interest, if it was they would just not offer the program at all.Hegemeister and knuckledragger Thank this. -
Sometimes it's because other drivers have found that honey hole and are beating you to the loads
Another reason is independents underbiding and getting the contract. This happened to me with two loads I used to get off the west coast . I talked to the spotter one day after catching one after not seeing them for months and that's what he said that we had been getting under bid by independents -
I'm not trying to to create a "mass exit" but a level of trust for o/o's which is a vital part of a win/win situation.

First post, having found this site looking for info on the new Cascadia.
Have been with SNI for 14 years, 13 as an IC and Choice since its first year. My second lease truck from SF was paid off in 2009. I see no difference in loads now or when I was paying SF every week. Freight lanes and carrier competition in regards to rates is the biggest reason some see their preferred routes disappear, shrink or become sporadic. No gravy trains anywhere in America and you gotta keep looking at other freight lanes when you have time to see were the new trends are for big settlements. Good luck...Matt201712, Loke, PokerRunn and 4 others Thank this. -
now there is a voice of reason. Thank you for your input. very level headed.
C-WALSH Thanks this.
