Im interested to know why you think this was trolling? Or are you just trolling. OP had a legitimate question concerning a benefit that is rarely talked about here.

Just calling out an unreliable source of information regarding this topic. He's a hater and just posts a bunch of nonsense about the company. Just wanted to make sure the OP gets legitimate information from someone that knows what they are talking about, not the resident troll that bashes Schneider just because retirement is boring and he's looking for some excitement in his life.

Go ahead and post Schneider solo pay at 6 months and 1 and 2 years compared to other carriers. They also pay per mile. The decent companies pay percentage.
-
Thanks, I understand now. He was correct on the graduated payments though. I think as far as OTR companies go, Schneider treats Vets the best when using the program. That money is a great supplement but like I said, don't get used to it.
-
Could you name some companies? That would help him to decide.

I don't name better companies on the forum. I don't want them flooded with applications from nonqualified wannabes. Finding a decent job is one's own responsibility.
Just an example , PRIME pays about $.10 a mile more. At 3,000 miles a week that's $300 a week or $1200 a month. There are others paying more than PRIME.
Yes , I DO hate Schneider. They are a bottom feeder that puts well paid private fleet drivers out of work to gain a dedicated account and several times I posted the quote of their CEO begging the House Transportation Committee to ease immigration laws so they can keep paying "less than 1980" wages. -
I'm going to Orientation tomorrow as a veteran who will be utilizing this program. Whoever said you have to sign a one year deal is a ####### idiot. If you quit with schneider, the benefits quit with you. They can't force you to work with them so you'll get those benefits.
Mortarmaggot Thanks this.
