Next time you're at an OC with a shop tell them to get you some new batteries. I run my inverter and a bunk light for several hours every night, my fridge stays plugged in and running 24/7 and I can run my heater all night long and still no beeper.
I didn't have any problems in my old Century either.

I idle as well.
The way you save "idle time" is to lower the sitting time other than your breaks.... I.E. - keep rolling LOADED, and NOT sitting.
If the company can't do that, then THEY are at fault.
As for the 70 degree thing.....
It may be 70 outside, but can be up to 100 degrees INSIDE. It's called GREENHOUSE EFFECT.
You can't sleep/rest properly when too hot or too cold.
And opening windows is not only out of the question due to BUGS and outside smells/fumes.... but also a SAFETY ISSUE since you'd not have a secured truck.
Idle time is #99 on my top 20 list of things to worry about.
COMFORT is #1.
I'll be having the parameters reset on my lease truck REAL FAST if it doesn't idle as I want it to. -
Just a quick update there still getting the parksmart system. There starting in the southern warm. Climate region then moving to Midwest and beyond. I'm out of Charlotte and my 2014 evo has one. There OK not great. The thing with it is it's a built in system so they remove factory run cooling from bunk. So in summer time when you're driving it's a pia to cool the sleeper. Even pushing the bunk switch on dash direct cook it enough. Then your dealing with batteries if your doing a 34 your better to suck it up and b home or get a motel.
