Im from the Chi too and im used to da cold weather as well its no biggie. Only one way to find out if MAY is a bad company and that is for me to try out for myself. If I dont like it ill just go somewhere else, but ive just been told by too many ppl that its one of the better starter companies so we'll see whats up.

I feel the same as you. You been to the terminal yet? Lyn and Danny invited me out to come by and practice. What day you headed out there? I might stop by there tomorrow.

Nah not yet. She told me to stop by thursday around 2. Its only like 30miles from where I live so its not even that bad. Do u have a scheduled orientation date set?

No I don't have one but she said something about the 30 the possibly. I was in the truck at school and had hard time hearing her but I know she said Danny will call this week and to possibly come by. Maybe I'll see you there and maybe well be in same orientation. Well keep me up to date on what's going on and I'll do the same.

As long as Danny is in charge at Gary, you will be setup for success. He is such a stand out guy willing to help and listen. He will tell you straight up how things are and won't sugar coat anything. Some guys don't take that well though.

Every truck I drove at May was equipped with a bunk heater. If it ever broke down and I needed to idle until it was fixed, May never charged me for that. Not sure where you got that info.
