I'm at SNI and work M-F only. Get paid very well. Every company has "bean counters". What would happen if the beans didn't get counted?

All I'm sayin is go down and see for yourself how they take care of the drivers while on break. Don't listen to stupid recruiters. Their job is to get you in the door.

I dint know prime had a dedicated run.

When are the new hours of service rules due to change. I plan to go this sunday to a truck stop and get the skinny on the companies.

Your not on the family dollar account by chance? Regular regi? How many miles per week?
My family could handle that amount out. Either way i know i have to pay my dues. -
I was told that dedicated pay is directly dependent on which account you're on. Some pay more and some pay less than OTR or Regional. I was also told by my DBL that a dedicated account pays less than OTR weekly because your stops are routine. Dedicated has a higher CPM because there are less miles driven compared to OTR, but of course there is more home time.

Yea all Prime has APU & Bunk heaters
Man it's summer time in my truck all year round
I blast APU & A/c during the summer -
Some go into effect June I think. You will have to take a 30 minute break somewhere in your 14 hours. Also you can't take a 34 hour restart except only after 168 hours of service. I don't know. It gets complicated. It won't bother me. I get weekends off. SO I will never run out of hours. I can see the recap blues coming on. I still do paper logs, so I will be recapping big time to make sure. Be safe.marke2801 Thanks this.

Prime has some dedicated accounts depending on where you're at- if you're near one of the DCs we service, you'd be home nightly. As far as stability, Prime has been in business since 1974, is privately owned, and is very stable. While many pumpkins (along with everyone else) were sitting in the truckstops in '08/'09, Prime kept us running, and the company expanded during he downturn... company guys got an across the board 2-cpm raise after freight started picking up. Hometime for company guys is out 3 weeks, with a maximum of 4 days off; one week of paid vacation earned every 125,000 dispatched miles on the OTR side. APUs and inverters are standard along with a bunk heater. If you come in as a student on a permit, you'll be paid $600 per week before taxes during training after earning your CDL. Company reefer drivers in a lightweight start at 41-cpm.

I've made the most money from dedicated. Not just at SNI. The simple fact that you have more work. No sitting waiting for a load. You know what you're gonna be doing. You can plan days in advance. More productive. Also, this account I am on is one of the highest paying accounts of all SNI. But even if it wasn't. Guys from like Costco out of Dallas still get paid more even though they don't get the CPM and drop pay that we do.BossOutlaw88 Thanks this.
