Thank you for the information atruckr, I have mostly done eastern half of the country. and i try my hardest not to go to far out west, basically from about Texas north back to the east is where I like to run.

 

Wel lthis will be my last post here, just got a call from Patty , to inform me that i have to go company driver, before i can do the choice program. After her and Glenn, told me in the live chat on face book i was qualified, so i hope everyone has a good future, i will not be a company driver

So my husband had to negotiate to get put on the choice program and by he time he was put on it, SFI had 'run out' of trucks. They said he would now have to wait until October when their new order comes in. My question is, has anyone here heard of them possibly getting them sooner? We were really looking forward to starting this new chapter sooner than October! Thanks for all of the good questions and conversations. I've been following for a couple weeks, but this is my first post. Drive safe everyone.

 

I assume your going with a new truck. They may have a slightly used truck available now or come in at a sooner date if you wanted to go that route. I had a choice of going with a new truck but would had to wait 6 weeks for it. Went with a 2013 that only had 50,000 miles.

 

Yes, he's going with a new truck. They did have one slightly used, but he would of had to wait until mid-September anyway and if he signs the lease in October, he gets a bonus toward his maintenance fund. So, we will just play the waiting game for now. Does anyone know if the 2014 evo's come with a built-in fridge? Thanks for always being so helpful atruckr!

 

here is what he sent me when I asked

"Super singles: less than 1% of van division units are equipped with super singles. They are predominantly a bulk division arrangement.

Diesel powered APU: a few of the older units do have this type of APU, vin#V09382 in particular. Majority of units offered to you will have the Tri Pac E or Idle Free HVAC systems.

Under cab exhaust: this will be on the Cascadias or units with model year 2012 or newer.

Refrigerator or place for a refrigerator: Majority will have cabinet access to install a frig. SFI would not finance the refrigerator if it is not already in the unit.

Automatic transmission: less than 1% of inventory units are automatics."

 

We just got a new 2014 Caacadia Evo and it has an APU but no fridge. We have our fridge up on the top bunk right now because it doesn't fit in the cabinet.
