was told that is something like $0.92 loaded, $0.90 empty/bobtail, and the fuel surcharge is like $0.40 but that rate can change per week.

just an FYI on this. If you are on choice you are paying your own ifta... What this means is that the best pump price is not always the best "actual" price. Sometimes its cheaper in the end if you buy the fuel in a high tax state with a higher pump price but a lower "after tax" price. If you want to know what your really paying for fuel take the cash pump price minus the state tax(this is in the big blue truck stop guide or online) minus the sni discount (.03 for ambest - .05 for loves, ta, petro - and pilot FJ is .08 to .28 they will tell you when it changes via QC message). This is your actual price before taxes. Since you pay your fuel tax based off of miles driven in each state rather than where you fuel this saves you the most in the long run. From what I have seen the fuel recomendations take this into account automatically and are right most of the time. It never hurts to double check but I have found them to be very accurate so far. -
Like this example every one sees south Carolina pump price and are like heck yeah cheap fuel and in North Carolina is higher pump price. But really NC is the cheaper state because of taxes. Its not just choice but all ic at sni. Also thus tax game is why some company fuel points say only get 50 gallons then go to next stop. It's all about that ifta tax.
