I think they all do it. I know there are several places (I77 in southern VA, for instance) when mine will always go off on its own. I also have my own unit as a back up.

I know exactly where you are talking about on 77 where it gets all whacky. There is a good 30 Mile stretch on OH 224 up near Findlay where Jill shows me driving through the farms alternating on both sides of the road and 5 miles in the middle that she thinks I'm in Canada. I just got a brand new truck 2 weeks ago and it did the same thing last week, so yes they all do it. It's the server, not the unit itself. Jersey City is another dead zone. Hopefully Verizon can work some bugs out of the system because sometimes it is just plain awful. I still have yet to buy my own GPS but I know I should.48Packard Thanks this.
