In this job you are tested every day. The smallest bad decision can have huge consequences. As far as Schneider being racist, I'm going to have to say no. A single person might be but I doubt any more than anyone else. I have seen prospective drivers given chance after chance. They have been brought back and gone through a refresher then back out on another trainer. If you fail, you do so on your own merits. Attitude goes a long way.

You have to understand what this job is. You are responsible for not only the equipment but with the freight we haul. If you make mistakes you run the risk of losing millions in revenue from pissed off customers. If you have an accident you could not only ruin your life but the life of someone else.

In sorry you had everything on this job and lost it. I have been there myself.

Take a breath and try and get some perspective. I truly believe that things happen for a reason.

    Good luck.

Schneider is by no means the worse. Are there better? Sure, but they aren't the worse.

This was in response to their Portland area terminal (actually in Scarborough / S. Portland) - there are a bunch of little / local truck companies surrounding them. *See those listed.
I'm aware that there are worse than Schneider. Just suggesting that Schneider is not the most appealing of that particular lot.
And this was about aesthetics, not reputation.

If only you would have lasted the 7 days with a trainer. After that you get assigned a new tractor with automated tranny. So you won't have shift . And you are correct Sni isn't in the market to train that's why they expect you to know how to drive. Going with TE is just to verify n inject the orange iv line in your arm.

We don't have a terminal in Maine. Closet full terminal is Carlisle PA. Here's what we have in Maine. A nice little drop lot. Screenshot_20160529-231919.png

So let's see ... They pay to get people there just to boot them , just so they can pay to send them home?

The chance of a new driver just off trainer getting a brand new amt is remote at best. I came back as a rehire and I don't expect a new one till well into next year.

well that's going on. see it happen every week. see it posted on fb. Really upsets me that they no longer follow the old policy for a new truck.. but they want drivers in the new automated trucks.
