Schneider Racist Hypocrites

It makes one wonder how the company stayed in business as long as it did.

Must have been at Carlisle. Last time I went through there, saw a guy in a trainer shirt that needed a double door to get in the building, probably would not scale out if he got in a truck.

Had a completely different experience. Schneider orientation was great. And if you couldn't drive when you went to a JOB INTERVIEW WITH A COMPANY THAT YOU TOLD YOU COULD DRIVE... Well. That's not exactly their fault for dropping you. Schneider orientation is not ####ing driving school. You're supposed to learn how to drive before showing up.

 

So many empties there! That drop lot is fantastic! Except the elephant sized potholes and having to drive through all the states south of Maine to get there

 

Not really true. Mainly depends on your terminal and job description. In my class out of Charlotte, almost everyone (12 out of 14) that was going otr or regional got an almost or brand new auto. I was given a choice of two 2015 auto. One with parksmart and 50k miles, other without and 20k miles. Some guys did get 2010 clunkers with almost a million miles on them. A lot of dedicated got junk trucks or had to slip seat. That's Charlotte though. Carlisle does things differently and I've no clue about other terminals.

 

When you can't admit your own deficiencies scream racism.

My favorite part of this thread is that gabby Gibbs (OP) left on like page 2, but still gets all the notifications from this.

 

Face it, trucking sucks. Learn to live with it, if you're gonna be in this business and while you're at it, practice shifting and backing. You won't make it if you can't back up. Stop playing the race card, there are a##holes everywhere. Learn to listen to instructors. As for weeding out people, the speakers/instructors are also observing you if they feel you'renot paying attention you'll get bounced, if they feel you don't cut it, you'll get bounced. Not everyone can do this job

 

Uh, yes, racism is about race. "Discrimination" might be the broader term you're thinking of. There are all kinds of discrimination (the kinds you mention above) but racism has nothing to do with age, gender, or sexual orientation discrimination.
