Y not regional ??? give me some details about the regional ,the recruter told me that is 6 days and 3 at home , and im new trying to start slow , i dont want to scare the wife and kids, but i hope the chance to make $$$ is good
I'm western regional and am finally getting home tomorrow after being out for five weeks...not by choice, first time I've been routed/near my home OC in 5 weeks. Sometimes with regional you will get home sooner, but DO NOT expect to get home on a consistent basis unless you are on a dedicated account that has a regular schedule/route. I'm not trying to scare you, just want to let you know so you don't go in and expect something else.
But how the pay works, its just the miles or they pay for other stuff like stops, pick ups it seems crazy but when you are brand new you like to know what u getting in to .
short haul pay 0-100 miles .40 additional cpm ontop of base 101-200 .10 on top of base 201-300 .02 on top of base live load 0-100 miles 30.00 101-200 25.00 201-300 15.00 live unload same as above additional pay for new england 30 bux any load going into 5 Bouroughs or Long Island 35.00 for any additional stop 65 breakdown for 24hr period. This is what i got from them yesterday when i was talking with a recruiter.Its emailed from them
