Have a question guys, I applied for the tanker program with Schneider, I’m going to have to do the CAT program. My question to anyone in it or completed it.
How hard is it?
Do people fail?
Does the instructors help you pass as much as they can? I was told they hold you over if they know you can pass but fail the test.
IF AND ONLY IF I was to fail out, would I be better to go to Swift, or just give up?
Note I have all the endorsements already with an A PERMIT

Where is your location?
`
Schneider tanker is a good choice.
I think @lual went through that program.
`
Plenty of other choices if you don't make it there.

Seek out
Rogers Cartage
Trimac
Gemini (aka Loves)
Western International Gas
Gaining a CDL at a technical college then applying to one of the tamker companies listed above. Is far better than getting the CDL through a trucking company!!!!! -
I don’t mind working with a mega. I just want the A and exp. I make $550 a week and I commute 2 hours to work. Back and forth so 4 hours plus 8 for work. A 10 hour driving day is nothing. -
I'd stick with Schneider tanker then. The tanker experience sets you up for good high paying jobs later; 12 mos or so.
Puppage, tscottme and Gamechangerzz Thank this. -

@gentleroger would be a very good source. Give him a day or so. Not everyone is on here non-stop.
