    #### you quit that fast. What was wrong with Schneider? And you need to understand when just starting out things aren’t going to be easy especially in oil and gas

Yes they are. I prefer to team with a man over a woman. I tell them, " I came out here to make money... Not play house." Professional working relationship. Never had a problem.

Lasted 2 months longer then I would have bet on.

There are places to run team. Mega fleets running system freight are not one of those places. Getting matched up randomly will only make things worse. Much worse.

Running solo megas can be hit and miss. For most it will not be a good long term fit. But teams? Forget about it.

my third teammate told me women had no right to talk to him or tell him anything... so we never spoke to eachother at the one month point I got to the oc my car was at... put the truck in the workshop (it moves even when parked and turned off ... it moves a inch or two at a time down inclines and is worse when turned on) and packed my car and left.... my DBL (disbatcher) told me he didnt care and any problems were half my fault... so my give a d*** broke I also got a job offer from a wireline company near me... I was previously in oil and gas as a EXCEL GURU I have skill in excel plus a degree in physics now with my cdl I am perfect for wireline and well testing.

Yes finding a team driver can be troublesome. Ask a lot of questions about habits. Have a general discussion about trucking and that's how you will find someone. I started with Schneider as well. I picked out and teamed with an older gentleman with experience. I still talk to him 5 yrs later. A great guy.

People obtain there CDL and come out on the road and think its going to be a piece if cake and make big bucks there first year. Not. Your first year is gaining experience.
I remember being at driving school 7 yrs ago and standing at the dock listening to everyone talk like they new ALL about life on the road. You never really know what to expect until you get out here.

Well I’m sorry you were teamed up with a guy who probably drove worse than you and treated you unjustly. I’m glad you found an escape. Teaming with a complete stranger can be a mixed bag mostly bad. I know plenty of sister truckers that drive circles around men. Stay safe out there and don’t give up your dream.
