Schneider to ACT - yes, another ACT thread :)

I see orange everywhere! (still! and now they're passing me )

 

Sitting at a Pilot in Lincoln, AL for a delivery tomorrow a.m. (with five other ACT trucks guess they really need tires out here).

 

Got a preplan this morning from AL going to the Gary, IN area... down side, it doesn't pick up till tonight.

 

Got a preplan this morning to deadhead to WI - north past Green Bay and then going to AL, again.


Staying in Gary for the night and watching the fireworks.

 

Excitement of being around Chicago... got up this morning to do a pretrip and guess what - flat tire on the trailer Drove down to Greater Chicago TS, sitting and waiting since there's only two guys working here and they have about 4 trucks in front of me for trailer washout.

 

About 4 hours!!!


Had to fly down to AL at speed limit to make the delivery appt.




I think I need to put this Decatur, AL to Gary, IN run in my GPS.... since I'm going there again. Got a preplan this morning already for drop anytime I get there - problem with this load is that every time it loads at around 1800.

 

Not too much... You're talking about the percentage choice, correct? They wanted me to go on the mileage program first for 6-12 months and talking to few mileage drivers at SNI, mileage is not a good choice - out of four drivers I spoke with two said they usually made less $$ then the company drivers. On the other hand, drivers on the percentage program were very happy. With the huge load board that SNI has, you can pretty much go wherever you want and pull however much weight you want...or little I meant.
