I ''heard'' they didn't like the content laws in Can.
I wonder if somehow they are skipping out.

Unfortunately most new entrants to the industry these days, don’t care to be properly trained. They’re too arrogant. They want to be out on their own real quick then have the best job in trucking soon after, without having honed any skills yet or showing they can stay put at an employer for at least a year.

i wonder if they have lost just too many canadian customers to be worth staying here . my company only deals with huge companies like kraft, unliever and 3m and i don’t see schneider trailers very often around the GTA . when i was with them in 2008 they had a lot of freight

Hey curious how the law on this works, cause we don't see a Bison or Challenger with official bases in the States. Was the Schneider just a yard or did they actually hire out of there like a typical company... I don't think I know a single Canadian trucking company that has US authority to interstate, but correct me.

I imagine only cross-border then, hmm. So a Canadian company can't open up in the States and hire Americans for cross-border work?

They did hire out of there. They had a recruiter come out when I did my MELT program in 2018
