I've seen drivers tape and spray paint the numbers, but they must really think people can't ask information for the number.
I've called a few companies thanks to their stupid drivers and if I remember the blacked out numbers, I always mention it.crb Thanks this. -
Somebody told me a lot of drivers used to spray out the numbers because they didn't want people calling about jobs.
In the era of the smart phone and mobile internet, let alone home fiber, that seems moot. I know JBH is always looking, and pay decent, and so is Schneider, and Schneider is offering $10K plus bonuses in my area, so I don't think job shortage is an issue at the moment.Chinatown and Studebaker Hawk Thank this. -
There are existing drivers in a given fleet who labor under the misconception that if fewer drivers are hired, they will get more loads and or miles.
It is either the recruitment number that gets blacked out, or the "How's my driving" number, blacked out by poor quality drivers who don't want someone dropping a dime on them
