Schneider trucks!!

    so looking at going to Schneider in May and applying for there home every week or every two weeks depending on what the home time looks like. My question is do they put inverters in the truck if you had a CPAP. I know they don’t have APU’s well not yet anyway.

    All the new trucks come with inverters and if you require a cpap you will get an inverter.

    on my 30 min break

    most of the fleet should have been converted to auto's now and when that change began they started buying trucks with factory installed 1500 watt inverters on the lower bunk wall. they increased the wattage to 1800 not long after? maybe it was 1200 watts to 1500, but still that was a good thing.

    What is the flow below stuff?
    I have never been in a truck with an APU... does it run the inverter without hurting the batteries? And does it work even when the truck is not running?
    Sorry I’m clueless about APU’s
    Our truck has an inverter and a bunk heater.

    APU runs off diesel fuel. It provides heat, air, and electricity to the truck without the truck running

    No, because the truck is not running when APU is in use. APU uses 1 to 2 gallons per 8 to 10 hours
