I is a cpap and they issued me a rechargeable battery, charger and a inverter to us with the cpap. I have a 1200w inverter in my truck that has opti idle. The 1200w inverter will not work with the cpap and states it on there.

Well, happy days. Best wishes having that thing strapped to your face every night. And they do check.

I can confirm. Your compliance with the CPAP is monitored. It can even be read remotely.

ask ppd for a 12v cord. the machines are really designed for DV current anyway.

that box in the middle of the ac cord is the transformer.

Do APU's draw diesel from the main tank or do they have a separate tank? Im about to drive for a company that has APU's and Ive never dealt wit them before.

They almost always draw fuel from the main tank if it is a diesel APU. There are also EPUs which are essentially battery banks which charge during the day and supply power when shutdown.

it's like a gallon per 10 hours or something I heard. While idling the truck is like 5 gallons per hour or something

Some models claim even less ... as little as 1 cup of diesel.
