My head hurts from trying to make sense out of her posts. I also thought her name was truckersexwife.

As for the company caring about money...isn't the bottom line the ENTIRE point of running a business?

I think the idiot escaped from the trailer park.

Your reactions are very similar to mine when I first came on here a month ago.
However, this forum did enable me to make what I feel is the best choice for me in finding a new job. Things have changed massively since I last was job hunting in 2005.
The biggest change is probably that because of the economy, there are A LOT of people driving now who never would have even considered driving a big truck back then, and for better or worse, it has changed the culture of the business.
Back then, we all knew we were gonna get ######, but whatever, everybody needs a job and you gotta taske the good with the bad.....

I feel like I have a different mindset then a lot of others because of 8 years active duty army and 3 deployments. I am used to my bosses slipping me the wiener. While that does not make it right, my tolerance for BS is very high. A lot can be said for having the ability/choice of just quitting and moving on to something else. I tend to appreciate what I am offered, in both jobs and life because I have experienced being told that I am going to do something and not have a choice without career damaging effects.

I for one would like some human decency mixed in with the greed. I know it's not gonna happen though.

I was thinking that since this individual must be illiterate due to her misspellings and lack of punctuation, then she is not going to understand WHY this accident is indeed her husband's fault and why he was fired. She is just mad she is no longer going to receive her alimony/child support checks, lol.

My husband and I have worked for Schneider for almost 5 years. We started out on a dedicated account and moved onto OTR about 8 months ago. As one of the previous posters said, are they perfect? No, no place can be, they are run by people and no person is perfect. I will tell you, with all the screw ups WE have done in trying to learn how to be OTR truckers, learning the new WorkFlow program, learning how to properly trip plan, etc. etc. etc, NO-ONE at Schneider had EVER yelled at us, threatened us, nor made us want to quit. Well, I will back track on that a tiny bit and say the dedicated account had a management personnel change and THAT made us leave it, but not quite the same thing.

My husband has 38 years driving experience, I have almost 5. We owned our own trucking company, small and local in CA for which I got my license after retiring from another career. The economy dropped out and we had to close our doors. Having experience in trucking as he does, my husband says this is the best company for anybody, but especially for those just starting out. I agree.

As far as I know, the drive shaft can only fall out once?

Not where I'm from. We had a guy shot wearing full coveralls in blaze orange.

And to add insult to injury, he was standing IN the road.
