Well, this tread, if I recall, was started by a clueless wife of a clueless Schneider trucker who befell and amazing and amusing assortment self righteous indignations.
What ever happened to her?

If y'all read the OP's comments all grouped together real fast they begin to almost make sense.
I think.
Not always PattyJ.
SOMEtimes (read usually) there are three sides to a story, although there's only two individuals with a differing description of what transpired. SOMEwhere in the middle of the two versions is a version known as "the truth".
It's twue!

Here is some numbers for you ex-Schneider drivers that refuse to work hard.
Last week I ran 1800 miles. Some of you would urinate on that. But how in the world did I gross over $1300? That is a very typical week for me. Some of you need to stop complaining and get off your rearend and look for the work.
Schneider has many options to make money. But they also have options that you won't make money. Those are the guys always sitting around the OCs running they lips about how screwed over they are.
Attitude is key in trucking. It is what you make out of it. A DBL does not want to hear belly acheing, whinning, or excuses. They want to get the work done. In order to make them happy, you should do whatever they ask of you. Even if its a crappy load every now and then.
Also, Schneider is not out to get anyone. This is one of the top companies out there. I've driven for big companies like Werner, small companies like Estrella, and mid size companies like Butler and Tango. Schneider beats them hands down. Why? Because they treat you like a man from day one. They have people to help when and if needed. When you call someone in Green Bay (someone you have never met nor will ever see in your life), they treat you like respect as needed. You don't get that everywhere, trust me.
So some of you who feel like you have been screwed, maybe you should look at yourself and see if you have made any mistakes. I know I have made plenty. But I learn from them and grow as a man and as a driver.
For the first time in my 10 years, I feel like I have a place I can retire at.... just sayinATruckerWidow, Rick_C, Dava and 10 others Thank this. -
do you people really know all the facts? if you don't then why don't you back off. i happen to know those people you are talking about. and i do know schneider was warned that the tractor they was in was unsafe
