Oh! What a marvelous idea! You could sell ads, ie, Facebook model, there should be NO BANS on profanity, bullying or foul mouth in general.
Trollers welcome! Let 'er rip! Internet mayhem! Go public! Have stock holders tell you what to do and, alas, slid into mediocrity. Rinse and repeat!

"Too much" is never enough for a dramaholic.:biggrin_25512:

Yeah, that can be disappointin', especially when you've got the perfect come-back
and the intended recipient gets sent to never-neverville before you have a chance to deploy it.
    :sad1:
Consider it a win and chalk it up is 'bout all you can do when that happens.

And away go troubles down the drain. :pottytrain5:
Still, ..... it's a good idea to check the seat prior to sittin' down, ---
to avoid any potential oily residue that could cause one to slip and fall, ---
    hopefully not in.
    :smt087
And never sit before the swirlin' stops.
Safety is, after all, no accident.

Hasn't been back in how long now... It was a bunch of BS, just as many other threads on this forum.

I think the mods should require a post count before people can start (bs) threads. Some forums do that... You have to introduce yourself, post in different threads and after 50-100 posts you can finally post your own thread. It would defiantly stop threads like this one...

That seems a tad extreme, BL. :smt107
Let me see if I understand what'cher sayin', ---
New posters would be limited to participate only in threads already in progress
until they reach a certain number of posts, --- at which time they'd be allowed to
actually start a thread of their own?
And doin' it that way would eliminate "(bs) threads"?
    No doubt.
And some forums aren't moderated at all,
    and some are over moderated.
Personally, I prefer un-moderated forums that'll let'cha say 'bout anything, 'bout anybody, any time, ---
    no holds barred.
    Formal attire or casual?
If we're gonna go to that extreme, I think those new to the forums should be formally announced
and presented to the audience a-waitin' to hear their acceptance speech, -----
With twelve trumpeters trumpetin' their every note in a regal manner, --- it goes without sayin' that valet parkin' is a must.
    But I digress.

What can they do after the introduction that they couldn't do before that?
Kinda eliminates quick answers to urgent questions, --- unless the new member breaks into a thread already in progress and hijacks it by changin' the original subject.
When you say "threads like this one", --- do you mean your's or the original poster's post? ;)
Either way, why be so intent on stoppin' BS threads? :dontknow:

Bovine excrement can be very beneficial, --- even entertaining for some here, --- and a way to blow off steam for the spreader. It's preferable that tempers and anger built pressures be relieved here rather than out on the road somewhere. I think it's safe to say the majority of those readin' these threads can differentiate betwixt unadulterated bovine excrement and run-of-the-mill, standard deodorized BS.
By callin' BS (or BE) on their claim(s) it can be educational for those researchin' the various Big truck truckin' companies.

The original poster expressed her own, personal opinion of Schneider.
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion(s).
Whether or not we agree with said opinion(s) is irrelevant, --- although there are those who require others to agree with their version or assessment, and would never consider callin' someone who didn't agree with them a friend.
As the late Rodney King stuttered, "CaCan't we all jusjust get along"?, ..... I can't help but wonder why we won't, "jusjust get along"?

Attackin' an opinion is permissible, attackin' the holder of differing opinions is not cool.
    I know.
    I know.
Sometimes it takes all the resistance we can muster to check our tongue and refrain from settin' 'em straight in a non sugar coated, matter of fact, to-the-point, blunt manner.
Remember, --- it takes a bigger person to end a free-for-all food fight, than to keep arguin' a point, --- spinnin' the wheels, and goin' nowhere fast.

It's been said that the squeakin' wheel gets the grease.
Not so in the Big truck truckin' industry.
In the Big truck truckin' industry
    the squeakin' wheel
    gets replaced.
    :smt036

That bein' said, ..... it's my contention that Schneider really messed me up good while I was drivin' a Big orange truck for Donnie, --- by providing two excellent trainers who taught me well enough to make it on my own, --- and even excel to the point of bein' comfortable and confident in my abilities while actually enjoyin' the Big rig gig and feelin' as though I oughta feel guilty 'bout not feelin' guilty 'bout it.
Schneider made me like Big truck truckin'.
    It's twue!
    It's twue! :smt045

I'm with you on this one, I used to be very active in flaming newsgroups during the early days of the interwebs. It's not that hard to dispatch an idiot without the help of a mod. They tend to emplode in a puss filled splatter when you call them on their stupidity.

Just so noone gets confused thinking flaming newsgroups are some sort of gay news co-op here's a wiki link for ya.
