I'm talking to SNI about the Bedford dedicated, is there something that I'm missing that should scare me off? Does anybody know anything about the Georgia Pacific account in Carlisle, also looking into that.

There pretty much all the same mate it just depends on which color bonnet (hood) your prefer

 

Would a dedicated Wal-Mart account like Bedford entail the same route driven repeatedly or is there some variety between which stores and states you are delivering to throughout the week?

 

For a story to have holes, there must first be a story.

 

There will be variety but after your there for awile you will hit them all. Some weeks you will go same place a few times, then not see it for awhile. You will get to a point that you will remember the directions to most stores and not have to look them up.

I met a driver at the G P plant in Louisiana he was an older driver like us, had been on it for a number of years he said was coming off his days off.
Had nothing bad to say about running the dedicated account.
I being a system driver, he came in got his loaded trailer and left out for his run.
I never got my load, and when my DBL returned from the weekend, I was dispatched some where else for a load.
I did get some delay pay for sitting, waiting for a load that never happened, (problems in the plant prevented the loading of the trailer.)
