Parking is ultimately at the discretion of the driver manager. It depends on how far from a terminal, how secure the spot is, and distance from a customer. It's unlikely that you will get permision to park away from a terminal/SNI drop lot until you are assigned a permanent dbl (60-90 days). The 0-90 DBL won't make a promise they can't back up.
Walmarts/Big Box Stores will not be considered a safe and secure parking location. Trailer repair shops, truck parking lots (you would pay the rental fee), or your home are the common ones I hear.
SNI Van Division does have a dress code of sorts. It's not enforced unless you cause an issue, then it's the sprinkles on a #### sundae. Clothes should be neat and tidy, no holes or offensive slogans. Denim or work quality pants (shorts when over 80 degrees and greater than 50% of your day is spent outside a building). Oil/Slip Resistant sole shoes with leather uppers. Gloves when working around the equipment. Hi-Vis vest an any OC/Customer. -
TMC and Melton and Maverick passed on me with come see us when you grow up. lol In the meantime I'll bide my time and pay the dues - then...
