either way it sounds like the rigs pretty new huh? If your going O/O do your due diligence very carefully before you commit to going ahead with this idea sure its great to be independent have your own truck and not have to worry about answering to a boss i get it. However there is a downside or a pit fall and its a huge open cut pit like in a coal mine if you get yourself into to much debt and can't carry it. So hire a qualified accountant unless your pretty cluey with figures yourself, get a risk assessment done, then if all the figures add up by all means go ahead with the idea.
If you believe what someone "tells " you, that is ignorance. Read the contract. That will tell you everything you need to know, and what is required of you. It's also the only thing that will stand up in court. The "but they told me" defense never works. Also remember, when you sign that lease, you don't own that truck, it owns you.
that truck dont own me..you must be a failure..because with paying that truck i still take 10wks a year off...i dont haul cheap freight...
