Promising home time is one thing, delivering it on time is another.

Running teams you will be all over the country. Getting from point A to point H on a given date when you are all they way across the country is iffy at best.

Running team your only 3 days away from home. I did team freight as a trainer long time ago and they would dispatch us at 1200 miles every 24 hours. I did not work for schnieder but that how team driving was. Teams got the best loads usually, if a truck broke down or solo driver could not make load on time. They call for team truck to bail them out. It was not easy in my opinion because we could only stop the truck about 2-3 hours a day. The truck did 65mph so it would take each driver basically 10 hours to drive 600 miles. It took about 20 hours to keep that 1200 a day schedule. That leaves you about 4 hours a day for all rest stops and eating and fueling and showers. Both drivers have take showers at truck stop at same time. Because just not time for each driver to stop during his shift plus eat and fuel bathroom breaks or just stopping to stretch legs a little.
