School tuition secrets

    No one has mentioned the local community college. Not only will you get good training, but they usually have a job placement service. They may even be able to get you a local job if you want. The cost is usually around $3500.

    I'm about to start at my local community college at the tuition there is $3500. I've seen other CCs with lower fees in other parts of the country.

    I've done a lot of research on this and gotten a lot of great feedback on this forum before deciding on a CC over a for profit "driving academy".

    For me, after getting all the FACTS (not BS, hype, marketing or advertising), it was a no-brainer to choose to go to a CC.

    Just make sure that wherever you go, that you'll get at least 160 hrs of training. I've found that's what most companies that hire out of schools other than their own are looking for as a minimum.
