Wow man you really put in work. Sucks that my ADD kicked in and I couldn't finish the ad. Well if trucking doesn't work out for you. Maybe a marketing career is in your future.
Too bad the forum staff has this deal about recruiting. How about cut out the sales pitch and give some real life numbers. What a week is like and let us know when they get rid of the internationals.

Lol, exactly.
Have to say it was the best recruitment ad I've seen on here. Wonder if that's really him in the avatar trying very hard to look tuff an cool.Texas_hwy_287, pattyj and roll_tide07 Thank this. -
It took you 30 years to join the Darkside? 4 1/2 years and I was done with warehouse attitudes.Team818, Texas_hwy_287, bzinger and 2 others Thank this.

Where are their usual traffic lanes?
Is it usually out and back from Iowa or from a drivers home area?
Sounds like a good place!Team818 Thanks this. -
I most often deliver or pick up from IA, NE, TX, CO, MO, MN, OH, IN, IL, KY, CA. I take hometime in Ohio but I take it all at once (four days a month). I'm usually back at the terminal once every one or two weeks.
They cover the entire 48 so the states I mentioned are simply because that's what I like to run.Team818, mattbh23, roll_tide07 and 1 other person Thank this. -
Minimum hire age is 21.

I provided the info about what a week is like as far as gross earnings. My net isn't great because I pay child support and medical for my boys.
My posts tend to be thorough when I have something to say. See my long post on CD England or my post on suggestions of truckers ever go on strike.
As far as recruiting, if they want me to remove the part about contacting me, so be it but everything I said is legit and I'm not a recruiter.
I'll take that as a compliment. -
A guy who works for me locally, tried otr with Stevens, stop laughing, and came back after about five months. Do they hire out of the Baltimore area?
-
I would be surprised if they didn't. I don't go that way but they have freight that does. I'm sure they'd love someone that wants to handle that area. Keep in mind that Le Mars, Iowa is the ice cream capital of the world, and ice cream needs to be shipped everywhere, so the freight isn't an issue.Team818 Thanks this.

I'd be interested, but every load would end up with shrinkage, lol
