STAY AWAY!! Over a dog which is gods creation they didn't allow it as human resource mangers company policy.. her name is wendy..stay far away from that sickness..if they could do that with animals imagine what they would do with a human being in this company and working for them. No love or compassion for a dog so what would they do with a human. Save yourself from this energy. President should see this and see what kind of mentality there workers have. Then this Wendy human said give us $50000 then you can have dog with you..sick

One of the most accurate precise comments on this thread.

Yes, I know this is older comment for this thread but thought I would chim in for those considering trying Scotlynn Commodities who are now trying to find carriers to haul contract loads for them. A company affiliate of mine did some work for them with a few carriers he linked up some contracts for them in the past allegedly hadn't any issues. However, asked if I would consider contract work through the slow winter months. Slightly hesitate because of the dozens of bad reviews online I wasn't hesitate but figured with a large corporation like Loblaws who also seemed to have less than pleasant comments on their google & indeed pages from previous O/o's, I should of known better. Both are extremely cunning companies in a despicable conniving method. Immediately reflags from Loblaws trailer equipment barely passing any safety standard beaten to crap because of extremely heavy loads ranging from minimum 44k lbs to 48k lbs loads so its the usual 'try to destory the outside carriers truck 1st'. Scotlynn Commodities Brokage is extremely dismissive regarding communication & Loblaws dispatchers are belligerent towards any questions referring to daily load allocations. A bunch of arguments imbeciles in that department. I caught on within a few days never bothered hauling anything for them again. Now, Scotlynn plays ignorant regarding the miniscule deceptive pay promised something my instincts told me. I honestly believe load boards even in these times are better oppose to contracting with these types of companies. Never neglect or overlook comments from other O/o's and Carriers when considering a contract 99% there's a reason why they left or why that freight company has a issue keeping or recruiting other carriers or O/o's.

I can't remember if I told this story on here or not (I can't believe its been 8 years of this trucking stuff already, sheesh) but my first exposure to Scottlynn, was my brief stint at Heyl. My first day, one of their long time drivers who had left to try Scottlynn (Cause he wanted a W900) came into the yard with their truck and trailer, after driving illegal for 3 days straight, and he basically asked for his job at Heyl back, and that he was going to drop the Scottlynn truck/trailer off at the road king, and leave the keys with the fuel desk. I guess Alan Heyl got word of this, and told him to leave the Scottlynn truck/trailer in the Heyl yard, and the terminal manager in Calgary and himself would deal with it.

Anyway, the story goes. That Scottlynn tried to go after this driver for an abandonment, and Heyl told them to shove it, it was in their yard, under their supervision the whole time. Also if Scottlynn tried to poach anymore of their drivers, just to bankrupt them, they would be speaking to Loblaws about it, and cutting them out of the watermelon contracts Heyl had the monopoly on at the time. Apparently Scottlynn backed down, came got their truck/trailer, and it all went away. This made me think Heyl was a pretty stand up company, that I would come to find out wasn't the case at all (in short order lol).

Scottlynn, Heyl, IHaul, Bison, Loblaws, Cargill, JBS, reefer in general. What a bunch of ########, that wasn't worth the time or effort to make it happen. At least I got to spend a lot of time in Texas, Arizona, California and Florida doing it, but my god, the BS was enough to drive you insane. (Maybe I'm not sane anymore lol).

    Frick.
