Now from what I am reading I would be lucky to get 5 MPG with the same freaking SPECS with an APU on the truck running 60. SO how in the hell are we saving the freaking Planet when we are burning 40% more fuel to do the same amount of work at a slower PACE.

Amen to that! I was wondering the same. How is it possible that in the 16 years I have had my commercial license there has been negative progress in fuel mileage. Sad to say that the '94 Freightliner cabover I had as my first over the road truck got as good or better mpg than the 2007 Columbia I have now.
